About Yekko Foundation Uganda

Our History

Yekko Foundation Uganda is a non-profit organization located in Masaka, Uganda, founded in 2023 with a mission to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of vulnerable communities. The foundation focuses on three main areas:

Healthcare

Providing access to quality medical and health services, promoting health awareness to reduce the risk of diseases and to address disease burden in rural areas of Uganda. This is through outstanding services rendered through:

  • Yekko Medical Centre
  • Yekko Dental Clinic
  • Yekko Eye Care Centre

All located in Masaka City.

Community Empowerment

Empowering local communities through various initiatives, such as economic empowerment programs, social support, and capacity building.

Education

Supporting education sector development by providing resources, infrastructure, and training to improve learning outcomes.

Our Mission

The mission of Yekko Foundation Uganda is to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of vulnerable communities in Uganda through sustainable healthcare initiatives, education, and community empowerment.

Our Vision

The vision of Yekko Foundation Uganda is to create a society where every individual has access to quality healthcare, education, and economic opportunities, enabling them to live a dignified and fulfilling life.

Our Story

Founded in 2023, Yekko Foundation Uganda began with a mission to improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of vulnerable communities in Uganda. What started as a healthcare initiative has grown into a comprehensive foundation addressing multiple aspects of community development.

Through our three main healthcare centers - Yekko Medical Centre, Yekko Dental Clinic, and Yekko Eye Care Centre - we've been able to provide quality medical services to the people of Masaka and surrounding districts. Our commitment to community empowerment and education has further expanded our impact across seven districts in Uganda.
